The Rundfunkchor Berlin is one of the world’s most renowned professional choirs. A three-time Grammy Award winner, the ensemble is a highly sought-after partner for leading orchestras and conductors around the globe. With its extraordinary concert projects, innovative performance formats and pioneering educational work, the choir sets standards in both the national and international music scene. Since 2015, the Dutch conductor Gijs Leenaars has served as the ensemble’s Principal Conductor and Artistic Director.

We’re currently looking for
- Two Tenors (full-time) from 15 August 2026
- Academy members and temporary staff on a rolling basis
Requirements
- Completed vocal studies (or equivalent training)
- Confident German skills for rehearsals
- Excellent German diction when singing
- Proven ensemble experience
- Strong sight-reading skills

Student Assistants (m/f/d) for Information Desk & Visitor Services
Your role
- Set up and staff our information desk, including CD sales at Berlin concerts
- Be the friendly face for concertgoers and event partners on site
- Assist guests during rehearsal visits
- Share information about our season programme and subscriptions
- Advise on current hygiene measures
- Keep information material in stock and organised
Requirements
- You’re enrolled at a university
- You love classical music (bonus if you’re into choral music)
- You enjoy meeting people and making them feel welcome
- A professional, well-groomed appearance
- A communicative, service-oriented mindset
- Solid German and English skills
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends
- Independence, reliability, and a good sense of humour
What We Offer
- Perfect side job alongside your studies – usually 3–4 concerts/month (approx. 15–20 hrs/month)
- Contract initially for 1 year, with option to extend
- Hourly pay:Year 1: €15 gross/hour
Year 2: €16 gross/hour
