Terms & Conditions

Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions govern the legal relationship between concertgoers and Rundfunk Orchester und Chöre gGmbH (roc berlin). They form an integral part of every ticket purchase contract and apply equally to subscribers and visitor organisations, unless otherwise agreed.

Programmes and Start Times

The current concert programmes and start times are published in the brochures of roc berlin and its ensembles. Programme details are subject to change.

Ticket Sales

Tickets for roc berlin events may be purchased during opening hours at the Visitor Service desk (Rundfunk Orchester und Chöre gGmbH, Besucher-Service, Charlottenstraße 56, 10117 Berlin), at ticket agencies affiliated with CTS Eventim AG, or online. Upon request, tickets can be sent by post for a processing fee. This service is available up to one week before the event date and at the purchaser’s own risk.

Discounted tickets are only valid in conjunction with official identification entitling the holder to the discount. Only one personalised discounted ticket may be purchased per person. Proof of entitlement must be presented at the entrance upon request. Tickets lose their validity once the holder leaves the venue.

Exchange and Return of Tickets

If an event is cancelled, tickets may be returned within two weeks of the scheduled date. Returns may be made by post or in person during business hours at the Visitor Service (Rundfunk Orchester und Chöre gGmbH, Besucher-Service, Charlottenstraße 56, 10117 Berlin). Subscription tickets for orchestra subscriptions may be exchanged at the Visitor Service for a processing fee up to two working days before the event (maximum of two exchanges per season). Apart from these cases, tickets cannot be returned or exchanged. Programme changes and cast substitutions do not constitute grounds for exchange or return.

Loss of Tickets

Rundfunk Orchester und Chöre gGmbH does not replace lost tickets. If a ticket is lost, a duplicate may be issued upon presentation of valid identification and payment of a fee. In this case, the original ticket is invalidated.

Changes to Name, Address, or Bank Details

Customers participating in the direct debit scheme must notify the Visitor Service immediately in writing of any changes to their name, address, or bank details. If a direct debit cannot be processed due to incorrect or outdated information, any costs incurred will be charged to the customer.

Late Admission

Visitors arriving late may only be admitted at the next admission interval determined by the organiser.

House Rules

Access may be denied if there is reasonable cause to believe that the event may be disrupted, other visitors harassed, or these Terms and Conditions violated.

Image and Sound Recordings

The production of image or sound recordings of any kind is strictly prohibited. Rundfunk Orchester und Chöre gGmbH reserves the right to make or authorise audio and video recordings or broadcasts of concerts. By purchasing a ticket or subscription, concertgoers consent to the possible use of their image and voice.

Data Protection

roc berlin collects, stores, processes, and uses personal data solely for the purpose of handling ticket purchases and for internal statistical analysis. Customers consent to roc berlin using this data to promote its own offers. Consent may be revoked at any time by contacting:

Severability Clause

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a provision that most closely reflects the economic intent of the parties.

Entry into Force

These Terms and Conditions entered into force on 1 July 2012.
