Join the Music!
Berlin’s largest spontaneous ensemble, the Symphonic Mob, invites you once again to make music and sing together with professional musicians from the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin at the Center am Potsdamer Platz (Sony Center) on 20 June 2026. This year, the Rundfunkchor Berlin will also be joining in.
Register at https://www.symphonic-mob.de/stadt/berlin/anmelden/ to join us and sing excerpts from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s »Requiem« or Joseph Haydn’s »Creation«. If you play an orchestral instrument, you can also take part in performing works by Johannes Brahms, Mélanie Bonis, and Georges Bizet. Of course, you’re also very welcome to simply come and listen.

Center am Potsdamer Platz (Sony Center)
The Center at Potsdamer Platz is one of the most striking architectural landmarks of reunified Berlin. Conceived in the late 1990s as part of the sweeping redevelopment of what had long been a wasteland, the complex brings together several individual buildings, linked by passages and open squares to create an urban ensemble of shops, restaurants and cultural venues. Most eye-catching is the glass canopy that stretches like a vast tent above the central forum, its form said to echo the silhouette of Mount Fuji. The architecture combines modern materials with clean, precise lines, while still offering sheltered public spaces that invite people to linger. Home to cinemas, event spaces and offices, the Center has become a major draw for visitors from around the world and plays a defining role in the new identity of Potsdamer Platz.
