Marit Jänchen

Marit Jänchen has been a choir teacher with SING! at Gretel-Bergmann Community School in Berlin-Marzahn-Hellersdorf since April 2026.

She studied C-level church music, specialising in choir and children’s choir conducting, pop piano and youth band leadership. She also holds a BA in music therapy and has applied her experience, among other settings, in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Her work centres on musical and human connection, the joy of singing together, and respectful encounters on equal terms.
