Marisa Martin

Marisa Martin has been a choir teacher with SING! at Grundschule am Koppenplatz in Berlin-Mitte since July 2024. From 2026, she will also work with Pettenkofer Primary School in Berlin-Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg.

Marisa Martin is an early-years music educator specialising in vocal music-making. Her focus is on singing with young voices. She studied early-years music education and singing at the University of Music Nuremberg, graduating with a postgraduate diploma.

Marisa teaches singing and speaking in early-years music practice and directs several children’s choirs specialising in early-years music education. She holds a teaching post in vocal training at the C. P. E. Bach Music Grammar School through the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin, and is a vocal coach for the Franconian Singers’ Association’s selected children’s choir.

In her work, she creates spaces in which children can discover their voice as a means of personal expression and experience agency, participation and community through singing together.
