Katharina Tarján-Stanoschefsky

Katharina Tarján-Stanoschefsky has been a choir teacher with SING! at Luisenstadt Primary School in Berlin-Mitte since 2025.

She studied musicology and theatre studies in Berlin, completed choir-conducting training and worked as an assistant at the Theatre Education Institute of Berlin University of the Arts. After several years as a dramaturg in music theatre, she shifted her focus to educational work.

Since 2014, she has worked at the Kinderopernhaus Lichtenberg, part of Staatsoper Unter den Linden, as a stage director and music-theatre educator. She also directs a choral school in Wandlitz, with children’s, youth and adult choirs, and writes libretti for children’s operas and musicals for children’s choirs.
