The SING! Initiative
SING! is the education programme launched by the Rundfunkchor Berlin in 2011. Its goal is to firmly establish group singing as a natural form of expression in everyday life – particularly in schools – and to introduce children, adults and educators to the art of singing and vocal performance culture.
The programme works in partnership with Berlin primary schools, district music schools and the Landesmusikakademie Berlin.
Our Projects
What we're offering
SING! project in primary schools
Teachers and early years educators can receive in-school training on singing with children and developing their own voices. In addition, SING! choirs are founded where children from different classes come together to sing – without sheet music, but with plenty of movement and joy.
Training programme: SING!
Over the course three days, vocal coaches, choir leaders, primary school teachers, educators and anyone interested can get to know and try out methods and exercises for dynamic and inspiring children’s choir work in primary schools.
