Rundfunkchor Berlin has established a new form of collaboration with selected amateur choirs which it calls “Hand in Hand”. Following the premiere in 2015, an international Christmas sing at Paul Löbe House with the Chorus of the German Parliament (Bundestag), the radio chorus was joined in an a cappella programme by Bancanta, the chorus of Deutsche Bank, founded in 2014. The concert, given in the atrium of the Deutsche Bank Unter den Linden, was the finale and climax of the collaboration. With the goal of motivating further musical development as well as establishing their identification with the ensemble of pros, Gijs Leenaars has prepared the Bancanta singers for this first joint singing event.
