Thomas Kober

Thomas Kober sang with the Thomanerchor Leipzig from 1975 to 1984, before going on to study voice by distance learning at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin between 1987 and 1991. Since 1986 he has been a permanent member of the Rundfunkchor Berlin, where he has taken on a variety of solo roles in the ensemble’s concert programmes, including »Soul of America« in 2002 and Rachmaninov’s »All-Night Vigil« in 2003. As a soloist he is also heard regularly in church concerts, performing, among other works, Bach cantatas as well as music by Schubert and Mozart.
