Sabine Eyer
Born in Hagen, Sabine Eyer studied singing with Berthold Schmid at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig and continues to work with him as her vocal mentor. She has also gained important artistic impulses in masterclasses with Bernarda Fink, Michael Volle, Anna Reynolds and Helena Łazarska.
In Leipzig she appeared on stage as the Third Boy in Mozart’s »Die Zauberflöte« and as Fidalma in Cimarosa’s »Il matrimonio segreto«. As a soloist she has performed in Germany and abroad, including at the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires and the Berlin Philharmonie, and has gained further stage experience through engagements at the Oper Leipzig and the municipal theatres in Chemnitz.
Since February 2011, Sabine Eyer has been a member oft he Rundfunkchor Berlin, where she also appears regularly as a soloist.
