Oliver Gawlik
Berlin-born bass Oliver Gawlik began singing as a teenager in the Staats- und Domchor of his home city. He went on to study voice at the Berlin University of the Arts and subsequently worked as a freelance singer, including with the RIAS Kammerchor and the (then) SDR Radio Choir. From 1994 to 1996 he was a member of the Komische Oper Berlin, before joining the Rundfunkchor Berlin.
Alongside his work with the choir he appears regularly as a concert soloist and sings in several renowned chamber ensembles, including the men’s quartet Vokalzeit and the Melodie Masters.
