Josette Micheler, Sängerin im Rundfunkchor Berlin (Alt)

Munich-born Josette Micheler began her vocal training with Tanja Elbert at the Bayerische Singakademie under Kurt Suttner. She went on to gain her opera and concert diplomas at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich and the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding, where she studied with Frieder Lang, Helmut Deutsch and Christoph Hammer, and further refined her artistry in masterclasses with Krisztina Laki, Thomas Hampson, Gioacchino Zarelli, Alberto Zedda, Brigitte Fassbaender and Ingeborg Danz.

She has appeared in numerous opera productions, including as Cherubino in Mozart’s »Le nozze di Figaro«, while also devoting herself extensively to song and oratorio repertoire.

As a choral singer she has performed with the Kammerchor Stuttgart and the Kammerchor München. She has been a permanent member of the Rundfunkchor Berlin since 2010 and is regularly entrusted with solo parts in the choir’s concerts, including collaborations with the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin and the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin.
