Johannes Hartmann

Whether press releases, interviews, or social media posts – Johannes Hartmann wants people not only to know the Rundfunkchor Berlin, but to understand it and, ideally, remember it.

As the main contact for journalists, he ensures that news and stories about the choir reach the public, while also managing its social media channels to capture the passion lived on, behind, and beyond the stage.

After years of violin lessons and many ensemble and orchestra experiences, Johannes studied Popular Music and Media at the University of Paderborn – a conscious step into new sound worlds.

His early professional experiences took him to community radio, private broadcasting, and a music magazine. Since the 2023/24 season, he has felt at home with the Rundfunkchor Berlin, where he now turns great music into great stories.
