Heike Peetz-Glintenkamp, Sängerin im Rundfunkchor Berlin (Sopran)

Heike Peetz-Glintenkamp studied voice and music education at the Hochschule für Musik Dresden. She has been a permanent member of the Rundfunkchor Berlin since 2011, having previously worked for many years as a freelance singer with the RIAS Kammerchor and the Vocalconsort Berlin.​

In the field of chamber music she has built up a wide-ranging repertoire in various formations and has a particularly close collaboration with the Dresden guitarist Elke Jahn. Together they received support from Live Music Now, the foundation established by Yehudi Menuhin. Peetz-Glintenkamp is the founder of the West-Östliche Diven, a professional quartet of international singers exploring every facet of the female voice.

As a soloist she regularly performs soprano parts in concert repertoire and has appeared with orchestras such as the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, the Brandenburg State Orchestra and the Telemannisches Collegium Michaelstein, contributing to numerous CD, television and radio productions.​

In her role as a choral conductor, she enjoys the different perspective and the opportunity to pass on her professional experience to amateur singers, and she is regarded as a specialist in choral vocal training. In 2022 she founded the Marzahn Women’s Chamber Choir Weibs a cappella, and in 2023 she initiated and led an a cappella workshop in Lübben, which now takes place annually each February. For many years she has also arranged and composed, primarily for her own ensembles, with a particular passion for ensemble singing. She led the Clara-Schumann-Frauenchor Berlin for 18 years and the Pirnaer Singekreis e. V. for twelve years.
