Christina Seifert

Christina Seifert was born in Zella-Mehlis (Thuringia) into a family of church musicians, and came into contact with music at an early age. She studied voice and recorder at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar, completing her studies in 1986 with concert and teaching diplomas in both subjects.

Equally committed to performance and pedagogy, she became a permanent member of the Rundfunkchor Berlin in 1986, immediately after graduating. Since 1989 she has also worked as a vocal coach with the Berliner Singakademie.
