Bianca Reim

Bianca Reim studied piano, voice, music education and French at the Berlin University of the Arts, Humboldt University Berlin and the Conservatoire de Genève. She furthered her vocal training in masterclasses with Ingrid Figur, Susanne Rydén, Peter Kooij and Barbara Bonney.

As a soloist she performs regularly throughout Germany, with a repertoire ranging from early Baroque lute songs and major oratorio roles to contemporary works. Together with Wolfram Teßmer and lutenist Olaf Neun she founded the ensemble Vox Coelestis and is also a member of the Amalien Ensemble, which was formed within the Rundfunkchor Berlin.

She has been a permanent member of the Rundfunkchor Berlin since 2005 and is frequently entrusted with solo roles in the choir’s concerts, most recently as the Shepherd in Wagner’s »Tannhäuser« under Marek Janowski.
