The singing mentors from the ranks of Rundfunkchor Berlin regularly visit SING! schools. Their main objective is to encourage the children and show them how much fun music is.
Get to know a real professional singer? That’s part of SING! Twice a year singers from Rundfunkchor Berlin visit the classes from which the children in SING! choirs come. They sing with them and talk about the career of a singer. For most of the children these visits from mentors represent their very first contact with professional singers.
Conversely, the classes can visit Rundfunkchor Berlin in person at rehearsals in the Haus des Rundfunks. Here they get to experience up close how a professional choir works, meeting their mentoring singers again and discovering the similarities and differences to their own choral singing.
