Following up the success of the Sing-Along Concerts, the Rundfunkchor has originated a singing festival especially for young people. At the Liederbörse (Song Bourse), school choirs can perform before a large audience in the Chamber Music Hall of the Philharmonie.
The repertoire is enormous. Contributing to the festive concert’s enjoyment are the variety of the programme and the breadth of the interpretative approaches. Professionals and amateur make contact and exchange ideas. And in the grand finale everyone comes together with the Rundfunkchor to form a giant ensemble. This year’s programme will contain works on the theme “Berlin is cool”.
