Yutaka Sado


Yukata Sado was born in Kyoto in 1961. He graduated from the City University of Arts in Kyoto with an honours degree and debuted with the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra in Tokyo, conducting a series of Haydn symphonies. Sado, who took lessons with Leonard Bernstein, was awarded the prestigious Davidoff Prize in Germany in 1988 and started his remarkable career in 1989. Since then he has received numerous awards and been invited to conduct renowned orchestras in Europe, Israel, and North America. This is the first time he works with the Berlin 'Rundfunkchor'.
