Amalien-Ensemble
This ensemble, founded in mid-2004, reflects a desire to sing a cappella music that does not form part of the core repertoire of the Rundfunkchor Berlin. It consists of five relatively new members of the choir:
Sophie Klussmann – soprano
Sabine Puhlmann – soprano
Christine Lichtenberg – alto
Christoph Leonardt – tenor
Wolfram Tessmer – bass
The different singers contribute their own experience, gained in various ensembles led by Rilling, Herreweghe, Hengelbrocke and others, to the artistic work of the Amalien-Ensemble.
